Ok, I'm still so in love with that turtle lol. This is a little card I made for the Some Odd Girl catalog using the turtle from the Hey Kaylee 4x6 Clear Stamp Set. Its just a fun and simple shaped card I made using papers from AC, SC, & EP. Then Mr Turtle was stamped with Memento's Espresso Truffle and colored with Copics. I like that color of stamp ink, its not a harsh black but its...

click pics to see in gigantoid size Every had a craving so strong you just couldn't resist? Yeah. I wanted to draw a bird on Monday lol. Weird, I know. So over about 2 hours while watching Hell's Kitchen and Master Chef. I sketched and colored the bird above. I updated pics via Instagram hence I got the progression above. Not the greatest pics ever but considering they were by lamp light on...

Look at me! I got cards made! rckhnds I needed some specific cards, specific as to the stamps, for the catalog so I ended up making them up myself. It gave me the perfect excuse to get crafty and I really had fun playing with patterns and colors on this one! I did a whole TON of cutting with my nesties to get the layers in the middle and I just really like how the whole came out. I used...

I've seen this question come up A LOT lately! Maybe its from the warmer, sunnier weather :) This little bit is something I learned when I used to do a lot more painting but the idea totally applies to copics too. If you try to shade yellow with a grey/black it usually turns out green and just kind of icky. I always encourage you to experiment and find your own likes but Y26 and Y28 are my go...

This is a piece that sort of took on a life of its own. I drew this while watching Game of Thrones (I don't watch much tv but that's not to miss as I heart the books!). I was afraid the inked product wouldn't match to the pencil but I really like how it turned out. I inked her with black copic Multiliner and the grass and clouds with grey. I really like the contrast just in the line work that...

Today I have a tutorial up on the Copic Marker Blogand their theme for May is Weddings. I was asked "to do something paper crafty that goes along with it." Let's just say I had a lot of wiggle room XD So the pic above it the finished project of the tutorial. I am starting out the tutorial here bc frankly I did SO many things with it that it all couldn't fit there, I already had to get uber...

Today's fairy is Mushroom Fairy. Sketching one night I came up with her and its what set off the whole Fairy release this month as she needed to be in the store :) I love the idea that, if you've ever seen the Tinker Bell movies, that the fairies have to make their clothes and stuff from what they find around so when I draw them I try and do that. They just seem a bit more "real" that:)...

Today's fairy is wee Dandelion Fairy :) I'm kind of in lve with her though I'm not exactly sure of the reason overall lol. Maybe I just wish I had a petal dress? That could be :3 But either way I hd a ton of fun coloring her! I played her some more with the V20, V22, V25 to shade my skin combo of E00, E02, E11 and I'm still really happy with it. You can get a nice graduation of color in the...
