    Hey There Hula Girl Mae! ARC Crafts fun

    howdy howdy or should I say Aloha! Today I have a card for you teaming up the new digi stamp Hula Girl Mae from Some Odd Girl with some yummy ARC Crafts wood paper. This card is actually pretty simple. I used my shredding scissors hubs got me from Target for christmas 2 years ago (theres a Martha Stewart version too) and used it on 1.5″ strips of wood veneer paper then layered it on my card to look like a hula skirt or tiki roof, easy and tons of texture. You wouldn’t think that ACTUAL wood veneer paper would cut so dang well with scissors or in your Silhouette…

    Hipster Pets

    We’re featuring the new Clear Stamp set, the Hipster Pets, today on our blog at Some Odd Girl!  For my card I used the Chihuahua from the set as well as paper pieced him a scarf and lil Uggs and gave him some glasses. He’s a pretty cool dude. The sentiment is also stamped in white ink then the papers are Cosmo Cricket and October Afternoon.     Copic Storage Bag
