    Girl’s Best Friend

    Look at me all fancy with a card to post today. I actually did this is September but with everything that went on the last 2 months it never got posted. So VIOLA! I used the Digital Stamp Tia & Puppy with the sentiment stamp from Walk the Dog Piper. The patterned papers are my Sunshine Sorbet Collection and the background paper is ARC wood veneer… its scrummy! For the sky background I just used my Copic Airbrush (I got a compressor for my birthday, SWOON) and put on a little bamboo twine.     Hey There Hula Girl Mae! ARC Crafts fun

    howdy howdy or should I say Aloha! Today I have a card for you teaming up the new digi stamp Hula Girl Mae from Some Odd Girl with some yummy ARC Crafts wood paper. This card is actually pretty simple. I used my shredding scissors hubs got me from Target for christmas 2 years ago (theres a Martha Stewart version too) and used it on 1.5″ strips of wood veneer paper then layered it on my card to look like a hula skirt or tiki roof, easy and tons of texture. You wouldn’t think that ACTUAL wood veneer paper would cut so dang well with scissors or in your Silhouette…
