marker swatch template

Today I’ve got a fun little goodie for you!

I was talking with one of the students on the Created from Color class forum and she showed how she likes to do the swatches for her markers and they totally reminded me of the paint chips I horde from Lowes (I WILL come up with something someday I swear it!) which reminded me of the OTHER paint chips at lowes that have the hole in them for better paint matching/coordinating and my brain smished them together in to what I have for you today!

For my birthday I got myself some new programs that helped me make this PDF download. I was looking for an excuse to get my feet wet and this provided and excellent opportunity πŸ™‚

This PDF is a free download you can use to make a swatch book like in the pick above on your own for ANY type of medium you’d like! It has instructions of how to use it but I’m sure from the picture above you get a pretty good idea. I didn’t want to fill in color numbers of make sizes of rows for you so it was as versatile as it could be.

You can make your swatch groups by color family, color combinations you like or anything else. Go the full rows or cut them smaller, up to you!Β  :DD

Here are the rules associate with this: PLEASE do not download and redistribute or claim you made it. Its frankly super rude. If you want to point people here to download that is awesome and appreciated! I like sharing and respect makes it possible. If you do use it and blog about it post a link in the comments, I’d love to see how you use it!Β

See that’s it. Nothing hard.Β

*** PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU DOWNLOAD. It helps me see how many are downloading and if you like it then it helps me to see if I should do more. And its the nice thing to do.***

So if you’d like your own copy you can download it here!

Let me know what you think of it!
