Something I like to do in my free time (there’s free time?!) is to embroider. I’ve made a few different hoops, like a raccoon, a bird and a monster, and the stitches used in embroidery can add some awesome detail and texture to lots of different craft projects! Below I have 5 Basic Embroidery Stitches I thought would be great to use on cards, scrapbooking and more! I used yarn vs embroidery floss so you could see it better. Enjoy!

Kristy, I love the look of embroidery on scrapbook pages! I am so glad you showed us a few basic stitches so I can bring it back onto my cards and scrapbook pages again.
A good catch-up. I used to do cross stitch and need to use it more often!
This was one of the first “grown up” crafts I learned. I need to do more and learn more stitches.
I don’t know why French Knots would give me so much trouble lol! This looks great though, gonna try again. Fly & Chain stitches are my favorites to use.
I used to love embroidery but I fell short because I don’t know a lot of stitches…but htanks to you, I now know them…Hehehe..TFS1
