    You’re Ripe for Me, Valentine

     Hey Oddies! This week on the Some Odd Girl blog the girls are sharing some Valentine’s Day inspiration in case you have a few cards left to make before Saturday (or Friday for school). Today I have a 4×4 card that’s pretty simple in layering with the Banana from the Some Odd Girl clear stamp set, Fruit Salad. For the banana I colored him by watercoloring with Copic Markers various ink. (0, N0, N3, 100) I wasn’t very good at waiting for the stamped ink to dry but that kinda worked to my advantage in this case by adding a nice edge shadow to the peels. Score! Got to love…

    Honeycrisp Apple Card and Frame

    Yesterday was my best friend, Leah’s, birthday and this Apple Card and Frame is what I sent her as a gift.  The frame is meant as a reminder that I’ll always be here for her, there’s a story behind the pic but that’s between her and me 😉 The card was made to coordinate with the frame, Honeycrisp apples are her absolute FAV so I thought the Apple stamp, from the Fruit Salad stamp set by Some Odd Girl stamps, would be the perfect fit. I colored the Apple up to look like a honeycrisp using Copic Markers (Y02, Y35, R05, R12, R14, 0, YG63, YG67, E74) then put it on…

    Fruit Salad Clear Stamp set, so appealing!

    Its Day 2 of our Release Reveals from Some Odd Girl stamps this month and today we are featuring the Fruit Salad Clear Stamp set! For my project I used the cute, half peeled banana from the set, colored him in with Spectrum Noir markers and put him on a simple layered circle card, papers from Basic Grey and Websters. The sentiment is stamped with Dandelion Memento.
