Steampunk Kaylee can Fix it!

Today on the Some Odd Girl blog we are featuring the new release STEAMPUNK KAYLEE! The girls did a fabulous job with this one so you’ll want to see what they have to show too.

I’m going to admit, I’m super in love with this image. Like way more than I thought I’d be when I drew it so if there’s any indicator if you’ll like it… well its a big one 🙂

For this card I really utilized the elements from the entire set to get the look I wanted. The gears, stamps from the Steampunk Kaylee set, are stamped with Grey Flannel memento on the kraft cs then the rest built on top. The other papers are pretty much American Crafts I believe (I’m tired lol). I colored Kaylee with Copics. I was a bit dubious on the blue at first but now I’m loving the choice.

You can check out the video tutorial I did on coloring her wrench on my YouTube Channel.

In other news…

This happened yesterday. I was at my crafty day with my friend Rachel when hubs called. I spent longer in the car to and from then actually crafting lol. He has 3 broken fingers at least, we have to go see an Orthopedic Surgeon on Thursday when the massive swelling is down for more details. He’s doing really well (better than his mom) and is chillin at home with me today. My poor sweet buddy! Since no one else will be home I’m going in for snuggles since he’s trying to be all boy lately and not do that.

Alrighty, I’ll check you out tomorrow for our 8pm edition of the WLCA! Schedule is linked up at the top! See you then!

I totally love this Kaylee and your card! Oh, your poor little guy! Kids are so resilient thankfully…
I hope he heals up quickly.

Thanks Sara! I really hope he does too, poor dude!

  • Danni says:

I’m not a huge Steampunk fan but it’s growing on me and especially with fun stamps like this!! You are the bomb!

Hope little dude continues to do well!! Sending hugs for him and you!!

I’m totally the same with the Steampunk Danni. I got attached bc of this image 🙂

Dude is certainly a trooper! We’ll get news tomorrow on how long he’ll be splinted or cast. Fingers crossed it looks better after the swelling goes down.
