Color Challenge!

by Kristy on January 26, 2012

I hadn’t done one of these in a while so when the idea came up I had to go with it! The challenge at Some Odd Girl is a color challenge and I bet you can guess what colors are up eh? XD No subtlety here! I used Coy Kaylee with a big head edition, a term I learned from Amy where you just use the image large and in charge! Usually just a portrait or head shot. Its kind of a different way to rock the CAS look with a statement.

Coloring something this big really let’s you stretch your coloring legs and have at it! I think this coloring of Kaylee might have inspired the new blue streak I’m rockin in my own do right now! It was nigh irresistible!  I used papers from Sassafras, ink is Distress Ink (for the sentiment) and Coy Kaylee is colored with copics… lots of copics and patience :3

Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11, E13, V93, V95, R00, R01, R05
Eyes: E11, E13, YG11
Clothes: R22, R24, R37, R59, R89, E40, E41, E30, E31, E33, W3, BG32, BG34, BG01, BG72, BG78, BG93, BG96, BG99
Hair: E30, E31, E33, E35, E37, BG32, BG34, BG45, BG49

Well today is my last day home! I may pop in and post about the goings on next week but don’t hold me to it! I am bringing my net book but I haven’t had to move pics from phone to it yet so that might be a learning curve. But one way or another, I’ll be posting about! Can’t help it! So wish me luck! HUGS and see you all when I get back!

BTW!

We are down to 8 spots in our first ever Basic Copic Class at Created from Color! Don’t wait if you’ve been putting it off! Class starts Feb 13.

Wow, Big Head Kaylee totally ROCKS. I want that hair! Well, probably not, it’s taken me four years to grow it after the last time I chopped it, but it’s soooooooooo funky I want it. A.Mazing colouring too. Have fun next week. x

Kristy, I always admired how you coloring all stamps. Totally looks perfect and real.
If you do not mind, let me know what you use to make the white spot on her eyes?? It looks so sparkle.

Thanks for sharing.
