Creative space!

by Kristy on March 25, 2011

I wanna know! I’m sure we all love seeing and hearing each other’s spaces so show me yours! What do you love about it? What would you like to change?

I am going to be asking a weekly question to all my readers out there called my “Some lil Q’s” It can be anything big or small, this is my first!

I am getting ready to shuffle around my space… again. My Office/Studio is in our living room and we are getting new living room furniture so I have to shrink it up about a foot. Luckily, hubs is moving out of my space lol. We are also talking about putting up a curtain that I can use to declare the day over!  Just have yet to figure out where all the pieces are going to go  :sidefrown:

Tell me all about it! Do you have a link to pictures of your space? Link it in the comments!

Would you like to help sponsor my blog? Find out all the deets!

So this is a link to my new sewing desk in my work space…I found it on the street and spruced it up! It was a great find.

Just posted my space, which happens to include a blog candy giveaway too :) I have a small room next to my kids’ rooms. Works well for making sure they go to bed at night, but I wish it were bigger!

Love your space! I am getting ready to move, so my space is in transition. I will definitely be posting about it on my blog as I put it all back together! Thanks for the peek into yours (and good luck with your changes!).

Honestly there’s not much to love about my space. It’s in the corner of my livingroom. I wish I could have my own separate workroom one day (yours looks amazing!). I don’t want my apartment to look like a train wreck so I really try to maintain all of my supplies in that one corner. It can be challenging sometimes.

I can definitely understand trying to keep it contained! I’m trying not to take over the living room, I’ve taken about half as it is, hence the shrink. I still wanna SEE yours! There’s probably some awesome goodies in there :D

Thanks Kristy! I’m going to have to do a post on my whole studio once I get it all together…right now I have this big futon cramping my style. I would love to get some lois chairs and create a little area where I can read books, and surf the net to get inspired!

I don’t think I want anyone to see my space. Not because it is a mess but because it is a dungeon. LOL!! I don’t have any natural light. If I did…I probably wouldn’t get anything done…I would just want to be outside in the sunshine.

I love seeing people’s craft spaces! It fills me with envy! I have a 2 by 2 square table, some shelves in my bookcase and some plastic cases- no natural light and no are to display anything- it’s CRAZY but it’s what I have for now. :) Your room is fantastic- love all the pops of blue against all that clean and bright white.

About 9 months ago I moved in with my boyfriend. He had already claimed the office since he works from home, so all of my stuff is in a corner of our living room. I have a desk and a book shelf, but a lot of it ends up on the floor around my chair. I really need to do something about that! I like my little space, but I can’t wait until I get a room so I can put a lot of my big tools on a table and not have to take down my Cuttlebug and Cricut everytime I want to use them. Sometimes I don’t use them just out of pure laziness!

I kicked my husband and teenage son out of the “Mancave” and stuck my flag in what is now the “Scrapcave.” LOL Here is a link to my madness (when it is clean)… http://jediscrapbooking.blogspot.com/2010/11/scrapcave-is-clean-and-organized.html

Hi Kristy,

Here is my desk, I am currently in the midst of setting up my new EZview desk. Hopefully that will help with the clutter.
