Dance!

Woot! New release time at Some Odd Girl! This go we have brand new Clear Stamp sets of the striking Nouveau Girls! I’m really having alot of fun drawing these. They typically take more time but I think the results have been well worth the effort. Today we are debuting Dancer with a little giveaway too on the Some Odd Girl Blog.

I actually got some crafty time on Sunday after I got some other work done. I was super excited to get to rock some papers! Or attempt to rock some papers lol. It was a slooooooooooow start! I think my last card of the evening, that you’ll see tomorrow, is my fav of the 3. If it wasn’t so dang late when I finished up I might have kept going but nope. DH had inventory last night and I NEVER sleep well when he’s not home so I tried to stay up a bit later so I could get a decent stretch of sleep, I’ll let you know how the rest of the day goes before I decide if it works out 🙂

I was trying to channel some vintagey feel with the yesterdays creations and I’m not sure I hit the nail on the head but I like the results either way. I also wen’t a little softer on the shadows on the coloring for this one as I thought it might add to the vintage look.

Maybe.

eh?

I’m stickin with it XD Now as we go thru this week, don’t hesitate to leave me your ideas for the next Nouveau Girls release. I LOVE hearing them! They sometimes make me think in different paths and that’s purty awesome 🙂

Oh wow Kristy, she is stunning! You know I’m a huge fan of these girlies and I can’t wait to see the other two!
As far as ideas for possible future ones… I would love to see NGs with each month’s flower and some gemstones somewhere on her (don’t have to be overt or over the top blinged out, LOL) that could be colored in as that same month’s birthstone. Kind of like November is represented by the Chrysanthemum and Topaz… the images could stay pretty generic but still work beautifully for unique birthday cards too. 🙂

This is gorgeous and I love that color of pink/peach you used on her dress – beautiful with her hair color! Great use of scraps of paper and the doily is perfect. 😀 Beautiful card! *Hugs
