Copic

I’m proud to be a  Copic Certified Designer! I received my Standard Certification in June 2010 and my Intermediate Certification November 2011 and I am also a Copic Artist in their 2012 Copic Product Catalog. Copic Markers are an alcohol based art marker that was developed 25 years ago in Japan. Originally created for fine arts, they have become popular and widely used by fashion designers, architects, automotive design, illustration and more.

10 years ago Copics begun to be imported to the US and were embraced by Manga artists, in the last few years papercrafters have discovered them as well.  Copics Alcohol ink is a permanent dye that adheres to almost an surface becoming acid free once it dries. The ink can be used from the marker, direct from a bottle or with the airbrush system. They are environmentally friendly as they are refillable and the tips replaceable.

Below is my color chart, the colors I currently have (click to see it larger). Please check out my tutorials page for some Copic videos and tuts 🙂
