new blog posting schedule

For a while I’ve been struggling with what to post on my blog on a regular basis. There’s a bunch of seemingly disparate things going on around here that I didn’t think I could figure out a way to make sense of posting without a rhyme or reason. Sunday it dawned on me while looking at my blog, which I had redone last month with a new tag line, Arts and Crafts. It seems pretty simple and pretty obvious now.

Arts and Crafts.

So here’s what I’m planning, a MWF schedule, Arts, Crafts and then personal.

It pulls together everything in a simple format that even I can follow, ha. I know my erratic posting has made regular readers pretty much nil but if you have something you’d like to hear more about or see from any of those 3 categories, please leave me a comment. I have some thoughts of my own but I love hearing from you guys.

In the last couple months I’ve received emails and cards from some of you out there that have really touched me deeply, and I really thank you all for expressing your support. Without going into details right now its been a real motivator in a time I’ve been questioning myself, which I so very needed. Some Odd Girl will be 6 in a couple of weeks and going in to year 7 of my entrepreneurial journey I’m feeling a sense of renewal that I’d be lacking.

Ok, I’m not normally a crazy sappy person but it all needed saying.

Well. Yeah. I am going to get back to my Arts & Crafts and look forward to seeing you back here on Friday.

I’m always reading, just don’t always take the time to comment. Just sayin’ I’m in your corner and am thinking of you. Huge hugs!

I am CRAZY for your style and wonderful loveable images. They REALLY bring JOY to ALOT of people. Recently I was invited by a 10 year old to come and make cards. I am known around here for getting together with local cardmakers and making card kits for all to make as we have a generally great time. This girl is a creative wonderful cardmaker and she was thrilled when I brought my collection of Some Odd Girl stamps over!!! She said that she loves the images more than ANY others. I told her I did too! Winter gives us the blahs, stress overload of holidays, and when Spring comes, we all feel more refreshed! It’ll come! -HUGS! You ROCK, and OWN IT! —yah!

I love stories like that! Bringing the craftiness to kids especially is tons of fun, you are awesome for doing that! Spring is always so nice here in Michigan, I’m looking forward to the lilacs & hyacinths especially 🙂

It is really cool to see your process “in the works” like the unfinished sketches, very cool! So if you ever think you are lacking a completed work to “show” ..one in process and maybe why you are making that particular image is a cool “behind thescenes of the artist” look that all would love! …

I totally agree with you! Some of my favorite things to see from other artists are “sketch dumps”. Its so fascinating.
