My New Office/Studio: Part 2

  My New Office/Studio: Part 2

Welcome to my New Office/Studio: Part 2!

On Monday I shared the first part of a 3 part series sharing how I reorganized my *everything* space, on Friday I’ll have part 3 for you. These posts were just too dang long to fit together. Today I’m sharing my Craft Wall and Cabinet areas, it holds most of my crafting supplies.

My New Office/Studio: Top Shelf Sections

This section has a lot of the things I like to keep on hand and in easy reach that can actually look half way nice lol.

The first picture is the left section. 1) The file folders hold ALL my original drawings for Some Odd Girl. All. Of. Them. 2) Mists held in $1 section Kraft boxes and magazines. 3) My Copic Refills, long reach vintage stapler and dew drop spinning caddy. 4) Glitters and Embossing Powders, as well as Washi tapes all sorted in closet dividers.

The middle section… 1) my peg board of embellies! Love the peg board. 2) My twines 3) Full inkpad storage. It is 2 Cropper Hopper table top ink pad storage towers cut in half and hung. Its FULL.

The right section… 1) Specialty 12×12 papers and stickers 2) Chipboard frames, foam daubers, Crop-a-Dile Big Bite, Decorative scissors. 3) Dymo and its tape, and a tray of bowls that holds my loose embellies 4) Stamp Storage and acrylic blocks 5) Shelf where all my “new” stuff or stuff that needs to be put away goes.

My New Office/Studio: Bottom Cabinets

The bottom section is cabinets from Ikea, the Besta line. I liked these bc they are super sturdy and modular. I purchased two cabinets with doors as I really wanted sliders to cover some of my more messy stash from view but don’t have the floor room for hinged doors. Unfortunately the sliders offered by Ikea only allow for 1 door over 2 cabinets and I needed a double runner. After a couple mis-purchases I found some plastic tracks that worked really well! They were only available in that brown color so I’ll probably end up painting it, but hey, they work and that’s the main part.

The first section is all my pattern paper and card stock that is either 12×12 or 8.5×11. The pattern paper is divided by color though I need to find a better way to divide it per shelf bc the shipping boxes I cut don’t hold the weight laying down. On these cabinets I can get drawers or flip down doors in the future too.

The middle section has a lot of my “tools” and odds & ends stuff, Picture 3 shows the drawers pulled out: 1)Bins 1&2 have punches, 2) bin 3 has card bases and envelopes, 3) Photography tools and lenses 4) embossing/airbrushing supplies 5) Paints and adhesives 6) all my thickers and old Sassafras border edges.

The right hand section has some embellishments and other goods like my Selphy and sewing box. 1) Bling and Enamel Dots 2) Ribbons, trims and acrylics.

This is something from IKEA that I use to store my paper. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70198031/

It is made to fit inside of the expedit cubes. The trays slide out a bit and can hold 12×12. You can orient it vertical or horizontal.
