Happy Birthday Balloon Kaylee

Happy Friday!

Its been quite a strange week around here. The kids went back to school and that left me with a lot of quiet time and more time period. Then with hubs home 3 days this week due to the holiday its been hard to get my bearings with all the change up.

Next week HAS to be better since it will be back to last school year’s routine

This card was a lot of fun to put together… on the other hand, as I always do my cards then color afterwards, it was a tough color since I had so much to choose from. I know, that’s weird.

A lot of the papers came out of my stash (AC and OA mostly) with my loved cork paper background by Fancy Pants. I need more of that paper! Like A LOT.

The Clear Stamp, Balloon Kaylee from Some Odd Girl, was colored with Copics. I think her balloon turned out really well!

I plan on getting crafty this weekend, what about you? Football season officially kicks off for the Lions on Sunday at 1pm so its crafting and football… with a side of my yelling at the TV lol

ps. Don’t forget to check out and enter the giveaway I kicked off on Wednesday. Put 1 entry per comment for a better chance to win!

Interesting that you put your card together first and then color…..no wonder I have a hard time finding papers to match, I always color first. I’m going to re-think my process….maybe I’ll pick papers and then color to match. I like the balloon and her hair showing through! Very cute!

I’d never get anything done if I did it the other way around. I have a stack of pre-colored image from releases and color alongs and using them is going to kill! lol. Though I find I am the minority in coloring last so you might already be doing it right 🙂
