Sneak Week Continues!

Happy Hump Day!

The pun was too fun not to share… I’m sure you understand  Our sneaks on the SOG Blog today are for Momma Mae and Baby Snuggle Kaylee. Both are great images for mother’s day that’s coming up in the not too distant future. For my card the paper is by Crate Paper, Flair is AC and the punch is EK Success. Mae was colored with copics 🙂

For me this time of year when everyone’s thoughts turn to babies and spring and everything that brings is kinda bittersweet. Both my kiddos have their birthdays within a month of each other. They’re big now, no longer babies. Dude will go to preschool in the fall and Chicka will be in the first grade. I’ve already been struggling with the idea of my baby being 4, 4 just seems soooo much more grown up than 3, but then yesterday I had to actually ask my hubs if he was trying to break Momma’s heart all in one month?

The training wheels are off people! 🙁  I can feel the lip whobbling already.

She’s not master of two wheeled freedom yet, daddy slipped and gave his ankle a lil twist so they had to put the brakes on, but she is sooo close! I’m so freakin proud of her but GEEZ! I feel like I just got over her going to school on the bus by herself everyday. Dude wants his training wheels off too now but his chain needs oiling before he can really get to peddling (which he doesn’t have down yet lol). At least I have that. I might be a smidge comatose if both my babies were 2 wheeled experts AND not babies anymore.

No more babies for us but if you have a little tiny baby, especially one with tiny baby cry still (moms know what I mean) then hold them and cherish them and know that everytime I see you in the store with your joy I want to snuggle it 🙂

I need a tissue now…

Your card is beautiful. And your little girl is soo cute, yes indeed they grow up way too fast. Hold them tight, and cherish the “little” time while you can.

Oh Wow, I am in the same situation. We took the training wheels off this weekend. Day 2 went much better than day 1. My 6 year old is more nervous than my 4 year old, but the younger one is just so determined to be like her big sister.

LOVE the card, such a FAB image.

    Hugs
