Work Wednesday – Craft Banner

Holy Moly, I have never claimed I could sew. I’m not a novice but not really intermediate either but I will say that fabric is fun! Today I am working on the banner for my crafty booth for this weekend. Its still a work in progress but here’s how it sits so far. I started with…

That’s as far as I’ve got right now. Its drying since everything is glued down πŸ™‚ I am going to be stitching in the “girl” part a lil later but right now my back feels broken since I put this whole thing together on the floor over the last 2 hours. Its about 6ft long and 36 inches wide. I started with 2 yards of white felt and a yard each of the patterned fabrics. The letters are cut out of felt 9×12 pieces from the craft section at HL. I also got a HUGE roll of that teal ball trim for $4 (this was my excuse to buy it from the clearance rack πŸ™‚ I’ve been eyeballing it for a month or more watching the price drop, so glad no one else snatched it up!). I’ve got some teal yarn to do the stitching. Next on my to-do list for the day is clean up my scrap desk… its buried again. What’s on your to-do list?
BTW, this should be my true entry into the moxie fab offset scallop challenge LMAO!
