What a weekend!!!

It was literally crazy! I am a slow scrapper so I think I got a TON done!!! 9 Lo’s!!! Woohoo! The last 3 I need to go back and put some finishing touches on but at midnight I was a little burned out LOL.

As cool as the whole crop was, this kinda stands out to me. I met the friend I went with to the crop about a year ago. Well come to find out where we were going to crop (which is 1 1/2 hours away from where we live) is right around the corner from a place that as a kid my family and I used to go have this Chicken Dinner put on by an organization my grandparents belonged to (masonic lodge). It was an AWESOME chicken dinner mmmm! The little old ladies would bring fresh fried chicken, biscuits, mashed potatoes, gravy and corn right to your table. It was such good home cookin! The dinner was put on at this old school (wasn’t a school then and is the township hall now) that is about 45 minutes from where I grew up but was in the town that she did grow up in. We both live in the same town now so this is just an odd fluke! I had to get a picture of “winner winner chicken dinner” as we referred to it all weekend.

I love the shear coincidence of this. I could see other parts of the tiny town that I could remember from out summerly trips out there. Cemeteries that my grandparents would always have us stop at so they could see friends. Buildings that look so familiar but have been renovated into other things. Houses that just stand out in memory.
Coupala!
That can’t be the right word, maybe we made it up. If you know what the right word is leave me a comment but we called the little square bell tower looking thing on top of a house a coupala.  I don’t know what to even google to find out. My google-fu is horrible! LOL!!!
I will get pics of the LO’s up though so there will definitely be more to come! Here’s to hoping that everyone had a great weekend!
