I already showed this vid over at the Some Odd Girl blog but I wanted to post it here too so I could get it all happy linked up in my Tutorial Page under the Speed Coloring section, I’m slightly OCD like that.  :D

This is Gifty Gwen from Some Odd Girl being colored with Copics. All the colors are listed in the video for you curious peoples.

Want to know something funny about this one… almost right after I finished the video my kids spilled water on her.  :|| Not all of it was ruined, but she won’t have legs when she makes in onto the card lol.

Have an awesome weekend! I’ve been working on some fun stuff and now that I have my computer back I can start getting them out there.

If you happen to be around today, oh say about 1pm EST, and want to color or watch a video then I hope you’ll hop over and join me on my Live Color Along on the Some Odd Girl Ustream Channel today. This is the third week and today I’ll be coloring Flower Fairy. I’m planning on giving her a fall look if you want to color along.

If you can’t watch it live it will be on the Ustream to watch later as well. There will also be a wrap up with any links we talked about and pics of the image with a color list.

The pic above is my set up of lights, tripod and webcam. I got a new to me camera but my computer is a dinosaur too and needs an upgrade before we can use it. Nice eh? My scanner had to be replaced too, 8 years old, the best I can figure, and it didn’t want to turn on (unless I tape the cord to the table at some jaunty angle) and the glass was all marked up.

Dear rest of my electronics, no more dying of old age and rainbows until next summer please! Money to replace you is not infinite!!!  :3

So I hope to see you there! Its live so you can ask questions and chit chat with me :) I’ll try not to be too weird and have a game plan. That’s a try, not a promise lol.

**PLEASE check out Monday’s post for all the winner’s from last month’s giveaways! Winners please email me with your info.**

Its was 80s fest here this year for Halloween apparently. My 7 year old was rockin the 80s fashion in neon, blue eyeshadow, big hair, and leg warmers. She said it was her most fav costume yet! Which is awesome because except for the black portion of the costume (target costume) the rest I pieced together and she can wear again… like to school :)

My 5 year old Dude was all dolled up as Bumblebee from the Transformers, back in now but a total 80s throw back. His costume mainly consisted of this awesome hoodie I found on ebay so he can keep wearing that over and over too! I try not to buy costumes they can reuse somehow. He ended up being the warmest of all of us, it was only in the mid 30s here and rainy.

2 staples of our Trick or Treating here in small town USA are …

Going in the Funeral home for candy (heh, love) and the Kingsley house that my DD wants to own once day she says.

If you celebrated the spooky holiday, what did you/your kids dress up as?

I could make a self beat box rap out of that … Stamp On IT! Stamp-Stamp-Stamp On IT! *wikawika*

:3

Yup, that’s quite enough of that. Though if you did air turntable and headphones bonus points to you!

Paper Issues new theme today is Stamp On It (like you haven’t guessed lol) and this is my entry into the theme. You all know I got crazy amounts of things I can link up for this and you probably do to! This theme is being sponsored by Hero Arts so hop over to the Paper Issues blog and link up and hop the hop! New or old projects are welcome!

On my stamping project I’m using Dancin Mae from Some Odd Girl and she’s colored with copics. Papers are from American Crafts and Sassafras, label sticker is OA, button is Dear Lizzy. Kinda Neon, but I like it like that :)

Hi everyone! Welcome to my stop on the Caring Hearts Card Drive Blog Hop! This is a fun and very special Card Drive put on each year by the sweet Vera Yates. She collects Holiday and Christmas cards to brighten up the days of of senior citizens in nursing homes across the country who may or may not have family to visit them during this time of year. As crafters we LOVE it when people appreciate our creations and trust me, these are very much appreciated!

This Drive is near and dear to me as my gandfather, who passed away this August, spent his last years in a nursing home , and my grandmother before that, so I know that while the staff tries their best, every bit of holiday cheer is welcome and appreciated.

If you are getting here from Kathy’s blog you are on the right track. If you’ve just came to see me today and want to start at the beginning stop by Vera’s blog and say hi!

I have a little bit of wintery cheer to share with you today that I hope you like!

Some glittery goodness and a cute polar bear I hope will bring a smile to someone’s face :)

I used papers from MME, and SC, glitter CS from Doodlebug, Memento stamp ink and the stamp is from Some Odd Girl, Winter Friends. The bear and his gear are colored with Copics.

Now the Drive is WAY more than this hop, I really want you to stop by THIS POST that explains everything and PLEASE send anything you can to Vera to help out! There’s a ton of wonderful prizes put up by many caring companies for those who send in… but I hope you’ll do it just to make someone’s day.

Do it for the grandpa’s and grandma’s out there. I’m doing it for my Grandpa.

The next stop on your hop along is Julie! You can hop thru Monday to be entered to win the hop goodies, make sure to leave comments at each stop to up your chances of winning.

The bright side is that we have a new Sketch Challenge up at Some Odd Girl today and I’m sharing creation for it.

I used Thank You Mae along with papers from October Afternoon and tag by Jillibean Soup for the sentiment.

I colored Mae with Copics and stamped some pattern in the background on the vellum with white Brilliant Ink. Just a subtle add on.

Skin:E000, E00, E11, E04, E07, R00, R02, R32
Hair: E21, E23, E25, E27, E29
Clothes: R81, R83, R85, R89, E40, E41, E42

Hop over to the Some Odd Girl Blog and get in on the challenge! I put lots of goodies up for grabs!

In other news there might be a little dust and debris around here later today. I’m having a make over on my blog done. YES, another one. I really want something that screams ME and what’s here now isn’t it. The new design that my hubs will be implementing later even he says is more ME and I’m agreeing.  :D So if you come back tomorrow for the Caring Hearts Card Drive hop, and I SUPER HOPE you do, it will probably look a ton different!

Can you believe it today is the last day of our 31 days of how to’s, tutorials and giveaways? Can you believe it the month went by so fast? I can’t either!

Today I’m going to wrap up with a speed coloring video that I hope you enjoy!

In this video I colored up Cupcake Mae from Some Odd Girl. She’s really fun to play with lighting with since she’s holding that big candle :) The colors I used are listed right in the video so I won’t bore you by writing them out again.

You have until the end of  TODAY to get in and comment on all the posts and all our giveaways to be entered into our giveaways and the random giveaways for commenters too. Take a look at Monday’s post to see a line up of everything that happened throughout the whole month! Also don’t forget you have thru November 12th to get in on the Some Odd Girl/Whimsey Stamp giveaway from yesterday.

Thanks so much for joining me in October and helping me celebrate my 31st birthday! All your comments and love really made all the hard work and effort that went into it was very much worth while. Please make sure and stop by all the guests I had, listed in my side bar, and leave them some love too because you know without them none of this would’ve been possible and I want to give them big hugs and thanks for taking the time, that they didn’t have to, and  helping me put this together.

I hope you’ll keep stopping back and see what’s going on in my corner of blog land! I love all the fun chatter I’ve been seeing. Its kinda addicting ;)

HUGS
