Howdy lovies! Today is sketch day over at Design Dollies! The dolls have taken a shine to this weeks sketch and I hope you will too! After I got my new purse a couple months ago, again from Little Odd Forest, I KNEW I just had to scrap it. I also know that I won’t buy my purses from anywhere else b/c Lynda is such a sweetheart!

I kinda had a thing for dots on this LO I used the ribbon and tag that came on my new purse on the LO. The rest has Hambly, Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket, Glimmer Mist, Jenni Bowlin and Sassafras.

I absolutely adore this bag and wristlet and the sweet orange gadget cozy she gifted me goes perfect with my orange phone! SIGH… in love! Even my old guy physical therapist said the bag was cute! THAT has to be a big compliment LOL. I hope you’ll pop on by Design Dollies and take up the challenge! The rest of the dollies brought their LOs just a strong if not stronger!

Maybe this story has already been told… well I know it has but it was waaaaaaay back at my birthday last year but my Lucky Momiji Doll was a giftie from my Trixie-Leah-Dollie. When we were getting ready to start this very blog we were all looking for Dollies that represented us and I came across Lucky. I gushed repeatedly about how much I dug her. Well a couple weeks later I get a package at my door and it was from Leah. She had hunted down Lucky  and sent her to me with a gob of goodies (see that post here)! Can you believe that!?!?  Lucky has such a place in my heart! She sits on my crafty desk with me everyday and hangs out with my lawn gnome.

I now have a wish list for more Momiji LOL! Well I would like each hopper to tell me a story (long or short) about a moment like mine where someone did something nice for you out of the blue, OR maybe you were the one doing the deed. EITHER OR. Leave me your comment and I will enter everyone who tells their tale into a drawing for a RAK…

Well I think I can’t wait for this week to be over! Its only Monday you say? Don’t remind me! LOL! That’s not nice Esme had her testing for kindergarten this morning and she has been declared MORE than ready! WOOT! This is all day kindergarten people! I am excited. She is excited. She will get to ride the bus which she can’t stop talking about. Mostly asking when the bus will come and my explanation of how long till kindergarten is simply not sinking in. I’m super happy that she loves school but I really hope that this isn’t going to last all summer. I may have to shoot myself in the face by august if that is the case. j/k… kinda LOL. She has preschool graduation on Friday and then is off for the summer. YAY!

That means no running BUT that means we can start official potty training with dude. This will be our third go but now we don’t have to take him anywhere and can really do it in force! He’s signed up for 3-school in the fall and can only go if he’s potty trained so fingers crossed! I am looking forward to a no diaper house but at the same time I think deep down he is more stubborn than sis so it will be battle on!

To top it all off I went back to the Dr for my stupid ear again today. My Dr is fabby! I love her! No BS, just straight up get’er done answers. No skirting anything as was illustrated when she looks in my left ear (the worse of the two) and I hear “EWWWW! There is so much fluid in there I can see air bubbles!” I will assume the bubbles are from my brain boiling away You think I could go on leave from that? Well I now have a double shot of nasal spray for two weeks and if THAT doesn’t help then I get to have temp tubes put in my ear! I will take the spray thank you very much! Though I have decided that nasal spray is the devil. There is nothing wonderful about it but the fact it will keep me from tubes. Tubes that I’m told that they don’t put you under for like they do lil kids. All adults get is some numbing drops and then you get to hold still while they do it. Not cool my friends! I am a giganto wuss here! I puke and about pass out with blood draws so this won’t be fun at all! I will take the nausea and dizziness the spray is causing.

See what I mean. Crazy. Busy and crazy! BUT I did manage to get three, yes three, LOs done this weekend. Sorry they are all for June at the Dollies. But they are purty fun. I think I needed a change of scenery and heading to the LSS really helped. I packed three page kits I put together with my sketches added trimmer and adhesive and was out! I cranked those babies out in 2 hours! Then I had time to stop at BigLots and get a CuttleBug. Woot. No fun dies or folders but they are on sale at HL this week! Thursday baby! I’m just interested in folders rather than dies b/c I have my Sil.

Anyways, I do have a couple goodies to share before laying down to try and survive heat and nausea…

Sassafras is jumpin around the world showin some inspiration from everywhere and anywhere they can. Here in the good ol’ Mitten State we are freezing our tails off but I like to dream of warmer weather and use up my Sass Stash in prep to get that new Nerdy Bird line! Its my FAV of the three! was this weekend. I finally was able to get in on the action on Sunday and managed 5 projects before I officially got pooped and it was too dark for pics. I had fun! I got to try the 6×12 size that I’ve seen people like Nikki totally RAWKIN and it was fun! I’m gonna add that to me reg repertoire. It makes you think about your pages differently. Well here’s my Sunday best

I totally threw the rules (at least the unconscious ones in my head) away for the Leaf LO. I had these papers I liked and decided what the hell and just use them together. I think it came out pretty good! The Peanut Butter LO was my last one for the day (hence the dark pic) and I’m still on the fence on this one. I think its b/c I’m not used to filling up the entire page so its bothering me a lil bit lol. But I think I found the perfect book title for my page, which was the challenge. The Diva LO was my first 6×12 and I LOVE that one! It was for LJ’s out with old challenge and I used the oldest things I could find! Papers from years and years ago, brads at least that old, hinges that I got almost a year ago (and love!) and other oldies but goodies from my stash. Turned out rather well

We’ve had an incredible week at my house with all the get goin and such at Some Odd Girl and while I was catching up around the blogosphere I came across Sketchy Thursdays’ Second Chance Challenge Sketch on Heidi’s blog (I finally discovered Google Reader lol). I was INSTANTLY inspired!!! I literally dug right in! Less than an hour later here is the result!

Hi lovies! Its Day #2 of my vaca and its really weird not to be workin. A tad stange in fact. I did work on cleaning my scrap area and that is done so I guess I did work a wee bit.
