Its a big week at Some Odd Girl this week! We are kicking off the big Week of Sneak Peeks leading up to our first Paper release on September 8th! I’m excited and nervous to be kicking this off and revealing the culmination of a lot of hard work.

I get the honor of going first on the Some Odd Girl blog today so I had to step up my game and decided to do it with a kind of card I’ve only made once before. I decided to make a pop up card. I almost didn’t think I was going to make it but finally got it all figured out. For my sneaks card I used some of our coming paper (all from it except the cardstock), sequins for stars and a cute Yeti Clear Stamp. 

I love how he looks like he’s trying to be scary… you’re not pullin it off buddy, sorry! 

In honor of first day of Sneaks Week I’m going to share the name of our paper collection: Sunshine Sorbet. 

The name is meant to envoke the idea of sun and warmth in the cold. Coming up on Fall and Winter, which is what our stamp release is for, I wanted the papers to be great for that but also year around. I personally don’t buy/use themed paper so our first collection, being in September, I wanted it to be more than just holiday or winter useful. I hope you like it! I created all the patterns myself.
