I have to admit, this mermaid, Sea Song Mae, might be one of my fav digis yet! I found her a lot of fun to color and I normally am pretty much my own worst critic and am usually disappointed in something about every drawing I do.
😐
but really, with the transparent tail and the chances to play with the light source and texture I had too much fun.
For the card, it came together pretty quickly too! I used papers from Glitz, Studio Calico, Doodlebug and Bazzill. Stamped the sentiment with Hero Arts Neon Pink using the sentiment from Under the Sea Mae and a couple Doodlebug Pearls.
Hop over and see the other Digital releases this week at Some Odd Girl. There is a Reef background scene that would go perfect with her as well as a Seashell pop up card that she would look very cute gracing.
I hope you’ve been having fun with the weekly digital releases! I’d love to hear what you think!
and we have this…

Obviously I am writing the Sneak Peek post right now and I’m not here, but, if I were here, I’d say I’m glad you had fun making this fab project. But, as I’m not here, I’m not saying that! 😉
