Today my first baby, my daughter is 8 years old.
Someone fan me from my fall to the floor in disbelief? When the heck did that happen???
Tomorrow she has her dance recital so I couldn’t have her birthday party on the Saturday after so we had to move it to the Saturday before.Β
First we gave her trick candles that took her quite a bit of effort to blow out. We all thought it was hilarious, her included luckily! πΒ
If you remember, my son’s bday cake a couple of weeks ago was pretty elaborate but we decided it would be fun to pull a second trick on her and make the exterior very simple. I did make a Hello Kitty and Keroppe out of modeling chocolate but that was the extent of it. The interior though was rainbow layers…
Yes, that was her actual *gasp* face when daddy gave her the first slice! She was too busy chatting to see it until it was in front of her.
I’m not an incredible baker, the cake is Betty Crocker with Wilton gel coloring. I can decorate, not bake lol
We had her party at Β Crazy Bounce, a local place with 13 different bounce houses included and they had a ton of friends bouncing, climbing and sliding with their friends.
Today I get to take cupcakes to her class π She’ll love it! We’re also giving her a last present today that she has no idea about. We’re setting her up her own special area, I hope she likes it!
I hope you have an awesome weekend!
What will you be up to?
