My favorite thing to color is people – especially hair and I’m getting better at clothes. The thing I struggle with most is using a consistent light source. I’ve found that I have a tendency to switch it if I’m not careful. Thanks so much for the opportunities to win and Happy Birthday Month Kristy!!

Ironically hair is my favorite to color (especially pink hair) and the thing that gives me trouble is hair…. (weird I know) but I struggle with finding a red combination and a blonde combination! When you find THE RIGHT ones that work well together, it would be nice to put them in a Copic journal! Thanks for the opportunity! 🙂

  • Kimberly says:

i love to colour hair… and i stuggle with skin hues and dress folds that don’t have pre line in

  • Marianne says:

As I’m still a newbie when it comes to colouring images, I’m struggling with almost everything, but people and intricate clothing with pleats and stuff are especially difficult. And determining the direction of the light source and sticking to it. Keeping a journal is a fabulous idea. I try to pencil down colour combinations I have used, but it’s of little use if you cannot remember where you left your scribbles afterwards. Thanks for sharing your video and for giving us a chance to win your journal and copicendium giveaway.

  • damaris velazquez says:

Thanks for this great idea. I have yet to start a Copic “favs” color journal or porfolio. This is giving me the push I needed. I’ve always loved coloring, and when I was introduced to it last year I knew it would be something I’d get into quickly. My favorites are hair. and most recently greenery like trees and leaves.

Thanks for a chance to win.
    x0, Damaris

I love to color stamped and digi images, especially frilly girls. I struggle mostly with coloring/blending faces/skin.

  • rachel mutchler says:

This is an amazing idea. I am fairly new to copics and don’t have a ton of colors so this would really help me when I find something that works. Thanks for another fun day and another Happy Birthday to you. I love to color mostly digi’s as that’s what I have the most of. I struggle when the images are small and I can’t get a real decent sepia look going.

  • marykay says:

thanks for the awesome video. My favorite thing to color is backgrounds. I’m new to using copics and find backgrounds less demanding for quality.
My worse coloring has got to be clothing faces and hair. That’s pretty much everything isnt it?? I’m learning slowly
thanks for chance to win that catalog

  • marykay says:

oops forgot to say “Happy Birthday Kristy”

  • Ann C says:

I color flowers and people the most. I like strong colors and do great with them. I find it hard to achieve some of that pale coloring that I like as well. I know…it should be easy but I just can’t seem to keep from going darker!

  • Bridget says:

I enjoy coloring flowers, clothing & objects most. But I struggle with skin & hair. When I luck up & do a great job on hair or skin, I can never remember the combo or techniques I used to get that result. So a Copic journal is a great idea! Thanks for the opportunity to win.

  • Linda F says:

What a wonderful idea Sammi. I think it would be great idea for me as I’m very much a learner driver when it comes to copics, so it would be good for taking notes and trying out tutorials. As I’m pretty new to copics I’m not sure if I have a favourite thing to colour – but I do like to try images with lots of shadow and folds. What I really struggle with is leaves – I can’t find a green combo that I like. Cheers Linda
