Blonde Copic Color Combos

Today my copic video is about some of my fav Blonde Copic color combos. In it I go over how I color hair along with the combos. Hair is like my #1 FAV thing to color and I could ramble forEVER on this one topic! Here I have some pics of the colors I used in the video so you can get a better look.

This first one is my go to blonde! You can take it lighter by starting with E50 and use E50, E51 and E53 or darker by starting with E53 then using E55 and E57. It also makes a great blonde “base” to experiment with combos on.

The next combo is a little more of a honey blonde but not too out there.

This is what I’m going to call a golden blonde. It doesn’t have any of the E’s in it which really makes it a sunny color.

Here is an ash blonde. You can make this combo a little darker by using E43, E43, E44 as well. Or go super light by leaving E43 off and starting with E40.

And last a nice beige blonde (can you tell I used to color my hair ALOT? I sound like a revlon box lol). This one is alot like the E50’s blonde where just taking some steps darker you can change up the whole look of this combo.

These combos are a good place to start and build from. It never hurts to stamp a bunch of heads (like go all the way around the edge of a paper stamping  just the head/hair part) to practice and experiment on color combos for both skin and hair. Its kind of fun to do actually, you have your own paper “audience” 🙂 I’ll be doing this with browns as well in the future.

Don’t forget to go back to this week and last weeks posts and take a look at all the how to’s, tuts and giveaways to be had! There’s been so much fun already this month and I’m THRILLED you all are here to share it with us!

See you tomorrow with a lil somethin somethin from Zoe for the wrap up of Copic Week!

Thank you very much! I have always turned my blondes into dandilions! I guess I was reaching for the yellow and not the more skin tone colors. Time to go to the craft store and make a 3 copic markers purchase and enjoy coloring for a while. Thanks, and I look forward to the browns (and reds maybe?)

As a blonde, thanks for the coloring tutorial!

  • Jess Marin says:

I must really sit down and try this. I love the suggestion of just stamping heads and writing down the colors. I always forget my colors as I color by sight so I can never really recreate it or tell someone which colors to use.
    Thanks!
