A stitch in time…

This week’s challenge at Some Odd Girl is all about the stitching! You know how a stitch in time saves 9? Well mine saves butterflies from fluttering off of my card 🙂 The challenge is to make a project with alot of stitching! Make it a focal point! I went with a CAS design to highlight the stitching.

An odd angle to shoot from but I like how it shows the stitching and the 3D effect of the butterflies 🙂

This is a tall skinny card, 6″ x 3.5″. I colored pinwheel panda with copics, stamped with Memento. The sentiment is from the Photo Kaylee set, I wanted to keep it simple. Papers are Sass and WRM. All my stitching here is machine stitched… a couldn’t imagine doing that much (and tiny!) by hand lol. Pop on over to the Some Odd Girl Blog and get in on this latest challenge! You could win a couple of digis of your choice 🙂
