Pieces of Paper

This go at the Some Odd Girl blog, the challenge we are having is paper piecing! I have seen some amazing examples of this around blogland and couldn’t help but have the team give it a go for the challenge 🙂 For my card I paper pieced Moooey with a base of Sassafras (from the Mix and Mend line), Cosmo Cricket (the brown wood grain) and Pink Paisley (the pink nose and udder). Stamping him with brown Memento.

I gave him a little shading with my copics and white pen. I didn’t want to over do and hide the patterns in the papers. 🙂 For the card itself I used papers from the Sunshine Broadcast line. I’m getting really addicted to it! I only have the 6×6 pad but I may have to pick up the 12×12 set to scrap with (yes I do still scrap, just haven’t in a while. Football season will fix that, lions and scrapping anyone? ME!). I also used Twinery twine and the sentiment stamp is from the Photo Kaylee set stamped with london fog memento.

I hope you’ll hop on over and check out the challenge and get in on the fun! The girls have made the most fabulous post today with all of their excellent creations! Cutest post evah!
