I could use…

by Kristy on August 31, 2011

a cupcake. Or some excedrine, at least I have that one :) I have this little card to share today that was fun to make. The layers, I decided to put together kinda backwards by cutting out and layering behind the front of the card.  Kinda makes you think a little differently about what you’re doing. I used Tiny Baker Tia for this simple style card.

Tiny Baker Tia is colored with Copics. Papers are Basic Grey and Studio Calico, brad is Sassafras and I used Memento Stamp Ink.

Skin:E000, E00, E01, R000, R00, R01, R02
Cupcake: R000, R00, R01, R22, R24, E41, E42
Clothes: YG00, YG01, YG03, BG0000, BG000, E30, E31
Hair: E93, E95, E97, E99
Eyes: B00, B02

Today has started out pretty crazy, its not even noon yet??? *forehead to table* but tonight we get to go to the Elementary open house and meet Chickas teacher and reintroduce Dude to his. They are so excited that I think its coming out in boundless energy coupled with ears that are turned off. They were actually up half the night playing with the cat! Of course our sweet Selena obliged them but GEEZ! 3AM is not the time to be playing chase me with the kitty. I’m a tired person today  8-O

In other news, the kitty has settled in like she’s always been here and she’s a silly thing. My breakfast is not safe from her. I duck out of the room for a second to come back to her licking the cream cheese off my lenders! The next day she’s eating my eggs and the jam from my toast! She’s not a picky eater at all! Love her though lol

Know what? In Sweden, the word “söt” (he/she/it is) or “sött” (that is) means both cute and sweet (as in tasting sweet). Perfect for this card. VERY sött! :D

Too cute, Kristy! Love how you did the dimension. Your kitty sounds like a handful but you’ve gotta love ‘em. Goliath brought a rat in a 3:00am this morning all proud of his gifty. Yikes! Not so much fun. Very girly and sweet card. Thanks for joining the Humbuggers this week. xxD
