Complimentary Color Challenge

Today at Some Odd Girl the challenge is Complimentary Colors! I know you remember using the color wheel in school or in your crafting so this is only a refresher for you right? Well Complimentary colors are the ones that appear directly opposite each other on the color wheel like Red and Green or Yellow and Purple. Following? GREAT! Choose your color pair, I chose blue-green and red-orange, and get a-craftin!

I’ve been asked if before if I choose the challenges after I make cards to go with them and the answer is a big NOPE πŸ™‚ I was temporarily stumped on this challenge like you might be but it was sure fun after the ball got rolling! I used Cheer Kaylee and I’d like to think she’s cheering on my choices πŸ˜‰ Β The papers all came out of my scrap box, even the cardbase. I think they are Sass, WRM, and Core’dinates. Don’t quote me though lol. The journaling spot is Jillibean Soup with a Thicker ‘3’ and my dymo made the rest of the sentiment.

Cheer Kaylee is colored with Copics:

Hair: E95, E97, E99
Skin: E000, E00, E01, R00, R01, R02
Clothes: BG72, BG75, BG78, YR 04, YR08, YR18

I know you can totally rock this challenge! Let’s see ya roll on the color wheel!

She is absolutely amazing. I’m kind of embarrassed now, cuz I did not realize she had the cutest dang head band in her hair before. *blush* Phenomenal work.. I love it!!! <3

I could go on and on about your coloring, ’cause it is FAB as always but I am so in LOVE with the layout design that you created here… putting everything on a diagonal is so cool looking and I’m totally gonna lift that idea soon! Thanks for the inspiration Kristy! πŸ™‚

Kristy… Kristy… Kristy… Everytime you surprise me!! Your colouring is amazing, this card is simply beautiful! Just a second before you uploaded your photo, I decided to use Cheer Kaylee in the same colours… ahahah and then, when I saw your creations I said “ok… there is not brad for my teeth” (an italian way to say it’s better change, this is so beautiful and I risk to make something surely worst). And the diagonal layout is genial, really dynamic.
