It started out one way

and ended up this way 🙂 I love the way it ended up with the yummy textures and the pleated fabric with its interfacing giving it some oomph! The scalloped fabric shear I got (took forever to find a pair that was not $100+) worked so well! Non-traditional colors too for a lovie card is fun! Everything but the fabric is Sassafras. I picked up the flowers from Crafty Steals last week and they were so awesome to use! Looks like I spent a ton of time 🙂 I linked this up over at the Paper Issues linky party for Valentine’s projects! Have something lovey? You should too!
Snowpocolypse happened last night, much to the hype of the weather men.
OH NO! Stock up on everything! The world will end is a white fluffy burial! We probably got 8-12 inches overnight but its clear now and we are still here. We didn’t get the 18+ inches they went crazy over. The wind was purty mighty but it wasn’t snowpocolypse lullz. The one nice part is bc of all that wind, HUBS GOT TO STAY  HOME! YAY! He has an hour drive so planned ahead yesterday just in case. 🙂 I’m geeked to spend an extra day with him and the kids will too. Hope you all didn’t get buried too deep!

Thank you for the sweet comment on my blog. It's not actually my first article written for the mag but it *is* my first one for Card Corner. I use to write for a different article prior to the new year.

Love your card by the way! I just used some of those same flowers!
