For You

At least that’s the sentiment off today’s challenge card. Can you believe I set these challenges then struggle right along with the rest of you? Yeah… I don’t make my job any easier lullz. The challenge is to use a ton of scallops on your card or project.

I used a circle punch and a lot of stitching to get this card together. I made it when i got my sewing machine set up in its new home a couple weeks ago so of course I had to use it πŸ™‚ The papers are October Afternoon, flowers are Jillibean Soup, AC rubons, Sass brad and Sweet Tiny Tia is the image. She is colored with copics:
Skin: YR000, YR00, E11, R02
Hair: E30, E31, E33, E37
Clothes: R22, R24, R27
I spent a lot of my day out running errands and picking up supplies… its not something I end up doing very often now that I work from home but it was fun! I got to go out with the two men in my life, Esme was at school, and it was nice! Come to find out we don’t have the best fabric shops in town. There’s one that I didn’t go to, and watch, next time I go it’ll have the exact thing I wanted lol. I am working on things for my Etsy shop and to have somethings for the Design site that I hope to have up and ready in a couple weeks. If I found that fabric it might have been sooner but I’m happy to wait so I can get exactly what I want/need. πŸ™‚ I am though uber jealous of those of you in a great area (or close to) that have all those fabric markets and such, like I hear about in LA and NY. Sounds fabby and wallet draining! lullz.
Anyways I hope everyone is having a great week so far (friday tomorrow!) and join in on the Scallop Challenge at Some Odd Girl!
