Today, the inspiration is just to be FREE. Take time that you were going to use to do a “To-Do” project and pull some random elements together and just have FUN!
In the spirit of that I took about an hour the other night and whipped out a sketch pad and pencil, my good ol clicks, and then went to town right over the top with my Copics. Graphite will not hurt your Copics but it will permanently discolor your tip so if that would be an issue for you, don’t mix’em. I figure I’ll have to change the tip eventually so I’m not so worried about it. 🙂
Working so hard at the Some Odd Girl images and with that style its sorta easy to forget that my roots are in realism. This isn’t the old standard, but for an hour sketch including color time, I’m satisfied. I’m really going to have to start doing this more often, its more soothing and centering for me than vegging out with a movie or book.
So be FREE today and make something not to please anyone else but you! That’s totally important!
I have some other pics and projects to share but alas I left my camera locked in the glove box of the car from the craft fair this weekend ARGH!
