SOG Thursday – Backgrounds

Its early in the AM and I already feel like singing… so I am πŸ™‚ That’s gotta be a sign that the day is going to be awesome. My tiny man is next to me playing Gooeys (world of goo for those older than 5 lol) and we are sharing some cornmuffins (that you saw on my messy desk yesterday). I’m tellin ya, this dude is MINE πŸ™‚ We are two peas in a pod yo! The only thing I would think that would make this perfect is the biggest coziest sweater to snuggle up in! I’m COLD! lol

Over at the SOG Blog today we are throwing down a challenge that I know stampers enjoy, making a background with your stamps! Or in our case digis. I used the cute sheepy for my baby card…

Colored with copics RV00, RV02, BG10, E41, E55
At first I was going to use the sentiment “I am sheep on you” with a heart but after I got it all colored it practically SCREAMED baby. So viola. I was impressed I actually had baby stuff on hand LOL. Scary what you find in your stash huh? Well come over and join us. You don’t have to be a digi user to get in on this challenge but I got to admit the ability to move around the images to get them to line up just right is a definite advantage.
In other news, *ruffles my papers* I took the cutest pic for my Thankful November post later! Its a new fav of mine. I’ll be posting that a bit later πŸ™‚
In other SOGgy news, we are looking later this month to put together another contest that I’m just waiting on something to work that out. But we are starting too to look for sponsors or people with Etsys who would like to get in our 1 year celebration in January. We are going to be doing a week of celebrations from January 16-22 so if you or someone you know might want to get in on it just shoot me an email, Kristy@someoddgirl.com, for more deets!
