See? I’m your last stop.

I have a lil goodie to share with ya. When I got started stamping/cardmaking last year I was at a bit of a loss on how to color my images. This year when I got Some Odd Girl started I KNEW it was a skill I needed to get working on. I decided to go with Copics as my coloring medium of choice so for my hop item today I thought I’d show you my fav hair/skin color combos. Like I said, I’m new to Copics which for all you newbs out there this really shows that you don’t have to have every color to get some good results.

I’ve got 5 hair and 5 skin combos for ya. I just colored the hair and face on Head in the Clouds Kaylee so the clothes didn’t distract from the different tones.
First here I’ve got a light brown hair for ya
I used a basic skin color combo here starting out with E000. The marker numbers are listed hair on the left and skin on the right.
Next is a beigh blonde
This skin tone is a lil pinker than the last. It has a R00 base with layerin of E000 and YR000 with a purty pink RV02 blush. I went so pink b/c the pink was already pinky in tone.
Now a bright red head
I started with YR00 on this (for the deeper sections) and then colored all the skin with E000. E11 added some more shading and R20 has a pinker blush than R02.
This blonde here is more of a golden blonde
Again, I started out with a popular E00 base then took Kaylee tan with E11 and E13 with the R02 blush.
Lastly I have a darker brunette
To me this skin tone combo looks a lil more olive since the base is more yellow than E00. E50 is a base for alot of my blondes if that is any indication.
These are my favs and ones I use alot. I am certainly a beginner and look around at what others do then tweak until I am happy. Like right now YR000 is my big WANT for skin tones.  Here is a fun card I made using the Red Head colors and Sleepy Mae
Isn’t she cute? Well you can win her and ALL of our June 15th release if you made sure to leave all the Odd Girls some love!

To get your final comment in, take a look at what you could win and tell me which digi is your fav! You have until 2pm EST on Sunday June 13th to make the entire hop. We will be choosing our winner that evening. I hope you enjoyed our Hop!

Now that you’ve completed the hop head to or back to our  Digi Day! Games, prizes, freebies and sales. What more could you ask for! Its only on Saturday from 10am-2pm EST so hop to!
